Fun with the Fam

Last Saturday Hunter and I took the kids to Castle Rock Regional Park in Walnut Creek. 20 minutes of driving and you're sorrounded by beautiful hills and trees, and nature galore! Including cows, horses... Anyhow, it was great! We didn't do much of a hike, but it was still fun to enjoy nature. Camilla loved the idea of having a picnic outdoors!

Here is my daughter asking (more like demanding) for a snack. I guess she was hungry!
We also got in the mail a few presents from my parents. It took all of five weeks for them to arrive from Peru! Here's Camilla sporting her new princess shirt from Ita (my mom).

And Logan got a few odds and ends, including this spoon. He loves it!

Hunter and Camilla having a mid afternoon snack... I've been told by many that cereal is good at any time of the day! Someday I'll believe it :)
And here's a video of Camilla making Logan laugh. I love it!

And since I can't get enough of the little guy, here's Logan trying to master the art of the sippy cup. BTW, he's now 9 months old. No interest in crawling whatsoever. He does love to sit and play. It goes with his meallow, happy nature. And we're potty training Camilla, and it's actually looking promising :) We shall see.

Da-Da

That's all Logan is saying these days. Da-da. Over, and over, and over. And although I secretly (and often enough openly) wish he said "ma-ma," I'm so happy to hear him talk. He's got the sweetest voice! My sweet boy will be 9 months old in a week and a half. It is so crazy! I feel like he was just born. Time is flying by, and it's such a bittersweet feeling. Camilla will be in school before we know it, and Logan will be running and torturing his sister soon enough. That's just life though.

Anyhow, no pictures this time. Just a ramdon post about the kids... as usual. Those two kids can be a handful at times, but I cherish the good times we spend together. Life as a mommy rocks :)
