Staying Indoors?

For all of you who know Camilla, you know how energetic my girl. There is a reason why we call her the Energizer bunny. This baby girl seems to be full with energy from the moment she wakes up.. and keeps going, and going, and going. Needless to say, she needs a place to run around and get some of that energy out (for mommy's sake). In January we had a few weeks of really warm weather (crazy!), which, I must say, was pretty nice considering it's winter. Camilla and I hit the park most of those days....

And then winter came... the past two weeks the weather has just been WET. Going to the park when the rain is coming down and the grass is all wet is no fun, so we haven't been there lately. Yesterday morning I looked out the window only to find... more rain. So I decided to take Camilla to Super Franks, an indoor pre-school playground in our town. They have toys, slides, you name it. I don't take Camilla often since I have to pay for her to get in, and between that and going to the park for free... you get the picture. But we went, and although it was sooo busy due to the holiday (which Hunter did not get off), she had a blast. Here are some pics.

Now, not only did she have fun, she also DANCED. My daughter loves to dance, and that's exactly what she did. I must say, she can move! Here's a video...Check out how she raises her hand when dancing... The dancing happens in the first 30 or so secs... it's kind of a long video, sorry.

To make our day even better, it did NOT rain the afternoon! So, I bundled Camilla up (see photo below) and off we went. We weren't outside for long since it was still cold and windy, but she had a good time looking at the birds (she's fascinated by them). Those ARE socks in her hands... maybe we should invest in some gloves. She does not seem to mind!

I know I complain about the weather being wet, but the truth is, we need it! So it's ok. It's just wet and going to park don't seem to go together :) At least winter will go away at some point! Take care!
